There was a time when jealousy, Was a part of our every day life. That wsoon came to an end, When we became husband and wife. We took all our differences, And threw them all away. The day that we took our vows, Was the start of a special day. That was a day of understanding, For mistakes, we may make in life. An acceptance for any faults, That may come between husband and wife. Just loving, what we've choosen, And accepting one another. Knowing what is important, While growing old together.
So true, Rose, I think all new couples go through a period of jealousies that strain the relationship to the point of either forging ahead to the next step or breaking it down and goin separate ways. Splendid write I must say.
