The more I look, the more I see,
The truth that lay ahead of me,
The love that blinds us everyday,
And seems to lead our lives astray.
Why must I let this ruin my life,

If I could look ahead and see,
That false love will never set me free.

Those very words that cause us to cry.
The words that haunt us in the night,
And blind us in the days so bright.
That cause us to be still in the night
