Together In The Still of The Night

I fell into a walk in the dark,
With only another in sight,
I never felt cold or lonely,
As we followed on through the night.

I could see two shadows together,
Which glowed like gold in the night,
I never felt I had anything to fear,
It was such a beautiful peaceful sight.

I told myself again, It's just a dream,
With a smiled I walked all the way through,
I watched as the dark night turned bright,
As I lay there, entwined with you.

There we lay in the still of the night,
With only good thoughts in our head,
Only happiness in the still of the night,
In comfort as we lay there in bed.

Two hearts beating, closely by,
So much love, what a burning desire,
To hold and to love for evermore,
In the still of the night, two souls on fire
