I have always treasured the fact that my husband and I have worked for thirty-four years on our relationship to make it the strongest and best possible. Today my husband has received his first pension cheque and we will continue to work on it everyday till death do us part, because that's how long we plan this love affair to last.

An argument shouldn't come between love,
So kiss each other at night and say,

Keep disagreements just between you,
Communicate no matter what's said,
Remember it can only be solved by you two.

Do little things for each other each day,
Offer to help or just pour a tea,
It's the little things that matter the most,
Through the years, I know you'll agree.

The way that you smile,
In that understanding way,
Soft words spoken or that gentle touch,
Makes love grow stronger each day.

For love's not to be taken lightly,
It's a rule meant for eternal life,
You have to work on it daily,
