I do realize the dangers that are happening in the world today with rapes,murders etc. and though we fear at opening our door to strangers we can certainly open our hearts. We can give to the needy, food supplies, clothing and by sponsoring different organizations or by volunteering where our help is needed. All year long we can help others with what we take for granted. I know we are going to eat tomorrow and I am going to have a roof over my head with plenty of heat and clothes to dress for the weather. My heart truly goes out to those who are less fortunate.

 

Open The Door To Your Heart

A healthy heart without love,
Is like a big empty dark hole.
Not wanting to open it,
With those out in the cold.
They have no one to turn to,
No one seems to really care,
Not one person to comfort them,
When they shed a lonely tear.
Open your heart to a stranger,
Give from your heart with love,
Show them you're willing to share.
Feed them and comfort them,
Pick them up when they fall,
Let them know that you are willing,
To answer to their every call.
Offer a helping hand,
See they too are women and men,
Help them to become survivors,
Become their secret caring friend.
Pack up those clothes, share some food,
Open the door to your heart,
Help make a difference in the world,
Help them, by doing your part.
