I happen to be a very sentimental person and I am sure anyone who has read my poetry has probably noticed that. I am one of those people that would cry because I love someone so much and have no way of really showing it, I'm sure I prove it by the things I say and do for those I love, my husband, family and close friends but I tend to put my heart out to many strangers in need of an ear or a shoulder to cry on themselves. There are times when I wonder how my husband puts up with me because of it. I guess when I feel I am going to explode because of all the love within my heart, my way of releasing it is to cry.I look into the faces of our grandchildren and I melt at the beauty and love that fills their hearts. There are times when they catch a tear in the corner of my eye that I try to hide and they will ask,"why are you crying" and I simply tell them because I love them so much.
Do You Hear Me Crying
I can't seem to look at your face, For the beauty that I see there, Oh darling, I love you much, It makes me cry real tears.
I can't write it down on paper, But it's important for you to see, Just how much I truly love you, A piece of my heart to you from me.
I can't even draw you a picture, For it wouldn't be that clear, I need you to know I love you so, It's important to me dear.
Do you hear me crying in my room, Before I turn out my light, That's because I'm asking God above, To protect you through the night.
I feel my heart is bursting, Sometimes it hurts me dear, Because there's just no way, To show you how much I care.
You little ones so dear to me, Oh how my heart do sigh, I need you to understand the reasons, Everytime you hear me cry.
Love truly is deep and your thoughts expressing yours show us how one can dedicate themselves so much that it hurts, even to the release of tears, a very poetic display of your love....
You are such a loving lady with a generous heart. Your children and your grandchildren and also your friends will treasure you. Don't worry, they all know your love for them.
This is truly beautiful and I am afraid it is part of our inheritance, for the Dobbins were often soft hearted and like my mother before me we had a tendency to take things to heart easily. Great write and I am glad it is one more thing we share dear Cuz
