I am one of the very lucky people in the world that have the opportunity to spend five days a week with our grandchildren. We have so much fun together as we play, sing, read books and build with blocks, we love to snuggle as we watch tv. we enjoy our walks. So many Parents and grandparents wish they could do this. We believe our grandchildren are our rewards for giving birth to our children. We've been rewarded nine times aren't we lucky.

Tomorrow This Day is Gone

Dora dolls and kitchen sets,
Cars, trucks and choo choo trains,
Let's all play in our magical garden,
We'll travel the world on little airplanes.

Play a game of hide n seek or tag,
Building blocks or play dough,
Color a picture or read a book,
Build a tent or play in the snow.

nanny and poppy have so much fun,
Run all day, play or sing a song,
Grandchildren's eyes glitter so wide,
Sharing moments with whom they belong.

Once in a lifetime is all you get,
For tomorrow this day is gone, Yet,
You've enjoyed a part of their lives,
Making memories, you will never regret.

A hug, a kiss they appreciate all,
The playing, the songs joined with you,
For tomorrow this day is gone, YET,
They'll have memories, made by so few.

Little faces glowing with such delight,
Grandchildren, bringing joys to remember,
Spending time of great love and joy,
Lasting evermore from January to December.

You are right on with this one as any grand parent including me will readily agree with. The luxory to be young enough to still enjoy our grandchildren and have them learn to love us is worth more than all the money in the world. My mother and father,(Your Aunt Edna and Uncle Felix) died when my own little girl was the same age (three) as my JLee is now and she remembers little of them. I intend to make sure that my grandchildren will never forget the memories we share today, tomorrow and for the rest of the time I have on this earth Rose. Thank you for sharing.

The Libra Solution: Shedding Excess and Redefining Success by Lisa DAnnolfo Levey

The familiar lament of dual-career parents raising children is, "I just can't do it all." The Libra Solution provides an alternative - a more satisfying and sustainable work and life approach - to the overwrought modern day norm.

Little River by Dadfire

Let this coming of age story of a boy named Bean take you back to a simple time. Set in a small southern town in the 1960's, encircled by a river and gleaming white cotton fields.
