People have tormented me about being able to bookmark things in my mind, I tell them it isn't in my mind but the important things are in my heart where it will be safe forever more. I remember dates and things that have happened over the years especially with our children, grandchildren and our relationship.

I remember it well,
The day that we met,
The day our lives began,
The day I'll never forget.
Soon we were married,
Then I took you for life,
I proudly carried your name,
To tell the world I was your wife.
There was our first born,
A healthy  bouncing baby boy,
We cried when we held him,
He soon became, our pride and joy,
Then came another,
Soon there were four,
How precious our children,
All whom we adore.
A little girl , a sister for them,
They love to take her for a walk,
They played with her for hours,
Waited patiently for her to talk.
One by one they went to school,
Some of them decided to move on,
Some decided to get a degree, 
Others finding where they belong.
Into this world, came gifts for us,
Marriages and grndchildren began to appear,
Happy moments made sweet memories,
Bookmarked in our hearts to share.
