We all need someone and they say if you have just one good friend that you can depend on then you are a lucky person. We can survive find as long as we know we have that special someone to turn to, that someone who be always there in our time of need. May I also add that it is good not take our friendship for granted and to assure that we haven't worn out our friend.

I ask you dear friend,

When I need and call on you,
My friend will you be there?

Does it matter what the time is,
Or why or what the reason,
Will I always depend on you,
Throughout any day or season.

May I cry upon your shoulder,
Will you wipe away a tear,
Can I always count on you,
My friend, will you be there?

You have been my friend for years,
Always with me for so long,
I've turned to you so many times,
I can't think of you as gone.

So today just think of me,
Keep me close in your mind,
Remember dear friend,
We'll  be close all the time.
