If I Could See
   Through The Eyes Of A Child

Don't be angry for it isn't right,
To use bad words or start a fight,
Just say you are sorry and smile,
This is the way it is seen by a child.

If just for once I could see,
Through the eyes of a child,
The good side of things,

Kiss and make up, say you are sorry,

We are all the same, inside and out,
Our heart can break in a short while,
God how I wish for once, if I could see,
Through the eyes of a child.

Not knowing the meaning of hate,
Not causing someone to shed a tear,
Just spreading that thing they call love,
Letting the world know that we care.
