I Live for my family and my little grandchildren are my main part of my everyday. I watch them everyday as their parents work. I look at them as miniature adults, they can be so serious at times. One of them will take his blankie and curl up where ever he chooses when he has had enough play time.

I Watched You At Play

So much to see, so much to do,
Rushing around through the day,
Pushing toys and singing a song,
I tire as I watch you at play.

So serious, is that look on your face,
So strong as you throw the ball,
You bounce all over the house,
I hear you each time you call.

Sucking your thumb, seems such a joy,
All in your own comfy zone,
Then you break for a short while,
As  you hear your Mom's voice on the phone.

Nanny, hurry, Come with me?
My toy is stuck, I need you now,
I'd run, as I watch you at play,
Until your busy day is through.

Bath time is drawing near,
The best time of your whole day,
Time to relax in the mist of the bubbles,
Calming down from your busy day.
