I think at times we all get that feeling, the feeling we call a gut feeling. Sometimes it just burns as we wonder what our next step should or will be. There are other times we just sit back and except whatever life has to offer us form this feeling within.

A Feeling From Within

There's a feeling that I have,
it's come over me time after time,
As though I know the future,
A feeling from within.

I wonder as it enters,
Am I to prevent what's to come,
Or should I accept what's to be,
Through this feeling from within.

Like a burning desire,
Leaving me both afraid and excited,
For the challenge I'm to face,
By this feeling from within.

The warmth is setting in my chest,
Coolness wash over my face,
A quiver crawls through my body,
Strongly felt, a feeling from within.

A desire to be closer,
A strength pulling me towards,
A since of belonging to, 
Love, A feeling from within.

Somewhere, I've been time after time,
Something I've felt in the past,
Accepting what's about to be,
A feeling from within.
