I've been married for a lifetime and there were times when I too wondered, where is this relationship going. We, my husband and I felt that there was enough love to fight for and so we worked with that. Today we are so happy we did, it was all worth it. We wouldn't change a single thing.
When two strangers decide to live together, they soon find that there are many differences between them and therefore they have to compromise a lot and meet each other half way. Yes they both have to make changes and realize they were both raised with two different sets of rules in two different families, so who's right and who's wrong, NEITHER. To make this relationship you both have to make your OWN set of rules and figure out what you both can tolerate. Every couple deserve the best shot at making it work, so when it seems to be all downhill, think for a moment. Is it worth just one more chance.
