When I look at my family, I know why I do all I can for them. Some people may think I do too much but when things are done from love, it can never be too much and if other's think they take advantage of me, that can't happen because we control what we choose to do for other's. In our hearts, our children never really become adults.

       

          The Reasons Why

I long for the day when you understand,
Why I cooked and cleaned for you,
Why I cried when you hurt as a child,
And did everything that I could do.
I ironed your clothes, so you'd look neat,
I brushed your hair so you would look good.
Those were the reasons I did it,
All the reasons why a Mother should.
I did it because I love you dear,
I did it because you were mine,
I did it because you deserved the best,
All those reasons why, were trapped in time.
You were as special then, as you are today,
Always a precious child to me,
For a Mother, has all the reasons for,
The love of her child, one day you`ll see.
I can still still picture you dear,
A fragile babe, crying in my arms,
Those were the reasons why I did for you, 
Why you`ve won me with all your charms.
