When Nights Are Dark And Lonely

When nights are dark and lonely,
And we hide ourselves in fear,
It doesn't seem so bright,
As we feel others doesn't care.
We try so hard to share ourselves,
And all we hold inside our heart,
 Hoping one will understand
And never chose to part.
Reaching out for each other,
For a space that we can share,
When nights are dark and lonely,
For another who will care.
Soft and tender words spoken,
Through the cracks within our soul,
Words of love and affection,
won't leave us feeling bold.
When nights are dark and lonely,
 We shed tears we usually hide within,
We find it hard to brighten those nights,
Without knowing how to begin.
Because of lost broken hearts,
A shadow through the years,
We live with nights dark and lonely,
To cover all our fears.
