My Secret Hiding Place

There are so many things I'd like to say,
Things that for years I've hidden away,
Safely tucked in my secret hiding place,
So I'd never worry of going astray.

Yet for one, it seems so easy to speak,
To say all thats on my mind,
He's kind, thoughtful and ever so true ,
For there aren't many of his kind.

Some things are meant for only me,
For even with him, I must shy away,
The romance I feel in my heart are,
Things that for years, I've hidden away.

We all have,  little romantic thoughts,
With no one, we're willing to share,
Tucked safely in our secret hiding place,
Safely, so we have no fear.

So I'll live in my little fantasy,
In my own little world, far away,
With the thoughts, I've held for years,
Things, I've hidden so I don't go astray.
