A Stroll Through The Woods

I decided to stroll through the woods today,
It seemed so sunny and bright,
The animals entertaining so,
Was indeed the most beautiful sight.

I could see the animals creeping around,
The trees that stood tall and strong,
The birds all chirping up in the tree,
Sounded a little like heaven to me.

So as I walked, I too began to sing,
A precious song of so long ago,
A song that to me brought a tear,
 Will you still love me ,tomorrow.

I walked as far as the water,
There I found my place to rest,
I watched as the water rippled,
Wondering if we're all put to test.

For we all do things, we`re not proud of,
Then we all sit back and wonder why,
As I stroll through the woods on a sunlit day,
Just wanting to have a good cry.

For no one loves life as I do,
Not questioning what comes my way,
I continue to smile at all thats offered,
Enjoying it all day after day.
