One Day At A Time

It's ok for us to love life and accept what life has to offer, one day at a time. We have bad days as long as we pick ourselves up and continue to enjoy life as it is. One day at a time.

One Day At A Time

When You feel like you've slipped,
Pick yourself up and smile,
Just in case someone is watching,
If it feels as though it hurts real bad,
Smile, for you will feel that in your heart,
It helps to mend the pain.
If someone has helped you in some way,
It's ok to be thankful to them,
It's ok to accept what others have to say.
When tomorrow you open your eyes,
Look for that reason to smile,
For life is too short not to enjoy,
So live your life to the fullest today.
Count your many blessings,
Be thankful for all your joys,
It's ok to shed a tear for your sorrows,
It's ok to fall, as long as you get back up,
It's ok to pass today and into tomorrow,
It's ok to want the sun to shine,
To smell the flowers and watch the tides,
We all enjoy the birds singing,
As we stroll through the park.
Life is such a precious gift to have,
So we have to enjoy it to the fullest,
One day at a time.

Very well said and very good advice. We have to understand that all of live is a series of ups and downs, goods and bads and happy and sad...once we understand and accept that then we can also take one day at a time and get on with living as we conguer one day to move on to a good one.
