A Little Light In My Life

I walked into the office,
She looked at me and smiled,
Amazing news my dear one,
You'll live forever and awhile.
Your blood pressure is normal,
We've got the sugars under control,
You've even lost a few pounds,
And that's great news to be told.
A little encouragement can go far,
 The news that I long to hear,
Puts a little light in my life ,
And takes away all anguish fear.
Just do a little exercise, that's all,
Do something, anything for fun,
Don't always listen to others,
Do it because of you, you are the one,
 Give the world a great big smile,
 Look for another in return,
Share your news with others,
Help them to and they will learn.
Just try to do the best you can,
To live a happy, healthy life,
Eat properly, no stress you hear,
Puts a little light in your life, I hear.
 Brighten up your days ahead,
When you're tired, go straight to bed,
Get up early eat proper and exercise,
 On your next check up, you'll be surprised.
 Come on now, you know you care,
So don't get depressed, show you care,
Add a little light in your life today,
Listen to what your Doctor has to say.
