Lost In A Feeling

I am lost in a feeling,
Something's been misplaced,
I really can't identify what it is,
 My mind feels as though it's in a race.
As though I am looking for that something,
For what I just don't know,
I'm searching around all corners,
Searching everywhere I seem to go.
I am just lost in a feeling,
All I want to do is cry,
I can't think of what it is,
No matter how hard I try.
Could it be a precious item,
Or a friend as pure as gold,
What is it I am searching for,
That makes me shiver with the cold.
 I feel that I have lost my sight,
For something I cannot find,
If I dare to let my tears flow,
Then I will surely loose my mind.
I have to keep on searching,
I know it can't be far away,
If I just learn to slow down,
I'll find it another day.
I'm just lost in a feeling,
Not knowing what is wrong,
I want to be in my happy world,
Right here where I belong.
