Just having a perfect day, everything seems to be going my way and not letting anything bother me, even if it try's, I'll just let it blow with the wind, let it land on someone else's doorstep. I just love days like this, they are as peaceful as laying back sipping a good glass of wine with a slight breeze and the music softly playing, can you feel it. This is usually how I feel about life. Then every once in a while I enjoy a day when It is all for me.

Just Blowing In The Wind

Not a single worry, in my mind,
Just thinking about the day,
and how I'll spend my time.
Nothing to spoil the perfect day,
Not a single burden,
To darken along the way.
I can feel the breeze, ever so gentle,
As it brushes against my face,
It caresses me as though it were in a race.
It almost makes my body tingle,
As I sit here in the quiet all alone,
Wishing I could share it with someone.
Today is all about me and the joys,
No extra baggage do I carry,
I'm like a child with new toys.
I can feel myself smile from ear to ear,
As I think about what next to do,
Just me here thinking about you.
Oh you and I  seem to be so far away,
Just blowing in the wind and relaxing,
For this is diffinitely a very me day.
For today I've become selfish,
For I chose to be alone,
All by myself in the privacy of my home.

What a wonderful feeling to have and to share. All too often in the fast paced and stress inducing world we live in we forget to take time for ourselves and enjoy even if only for a short while the feeling of happiness we are entitled to. The love of another, the smile of a child, a good wine, or a summer breeze...time on earth is too short not to think of what we want once in a while. Great write Rose.
