My darling Cousin told me I could write about anything if I thought about, so if he says so, it must be, because he continues to build my confidence, He has a wonderful way with words, which he proves to us each day as we cherish what he shares with each one of us and so I take the time to say, Thank you dear Fee, Love ya Cuz.
A Story With No End
And so the two were born, Separate worlds so far apart, But joined somehow together, With strings that combined one heart.
Time had drawn them close, And words made them both known, Connected them as family, As though they together, had grown.
They had this special feeling, A bond from the very start, That made them real family, Never more to part.
The years, they had been stolen, But it didn't break the bond, Of two relatives sharing their lives, How could this possibly be wrong.
And so the time has come, For them to meet and shed a tear, Because they have become so close, From the beginning of the year.
They will never let the time pass, When they can't be trusting friends, Because they have the chance to share, A relationship that will never end.
I have a loving cousin that is more like a sister to me than anything. We are alwas there for each other in times of need and support each other and are glad we grew up together and still visit each other often. Nothing like family, is there?
Sis this is so touching and beautiful, I too understand the words and the wonders of becoming one with special family members such as our fabulous cuz. It was far too long a separation between us but I feel we are certainly making up time. Then to find we have so much in common is absolutely mystifying and I love. Love you cuz and it is such a pleasure.
Love & hugs to you sis
The bond of blood is special but the bond of friendship is as deep and we are fortunate to find and share both. Thank you so much for this write for it means a lot to me and yes I am glad that my humble advice does help you to endeavor for more diversity in the talents we both share.
Rose,
There is nothing better than a close "bonding" with a relative. I have rekindled that type of kinship/friendship with my cousin, Phyllis, who has MS. Thanks for expressing your inner feelings with others.
If you haven't seen my poem about Phyllis, please look for "On Being Phyllis."
Let this coming of age story of a boy named Bean take you back to a simple time. Set in a small southern town in the 1960's, encircled by a river and gleaming white cotton fields.
A wicked Cajun Fairy named Robes Pierre entered the impenetrable Magical doll land of Sha Bebe. Queen Faustina, the ruler of the doll land, thought she had destroyed him, but he's back! Will the doll land survive his evil ways?
Love & hugs to you sis
