It's Not As Simple
Get up and make the bed, Get ready for work, plan your day, Another load of laundry done, Before you start your full day.
You woke up this morning, to be told Turn the button, press a key, Get fresh morning coffee, It's not that simple, you can see.
Broke a heel, my hose got a run, My hem just let go,it started to rain, The car it won't start, out of gas, It's one of those days, it's insane.
It's not as simple as it may seem to be, I should have stayed in bed for the day, For nothing wants to go right, It feels, I'm just in my own way.
Can't slow down, can't be late, Find that smile, now put it on, Rushing just to get out the door, Got to get to where I belong.

As you said the smallest things are easy to accept and add them to our daily calendar; however, it's the ambiguous ones, i.e. "grandiose" change, with which I have the most problems accepting and making changes in my routine. I usually think to myself, "Now, wait just a minute," and then add or discard the ambiguities.
Excellent, expressive write. Have a GREAT ay with those little "changes." :>)
