Out There Somewhere

My husband and I just got back from Barrie Ontario. We spent the weekend travelling on the Harley and visiting family members. We had a fantastic time but out there somewhere are Some people that should not have a licence and you have to wonder what cereal box they cut it out of, for a few times they tried to cut into our lane with us there, not a good feeling in the stomach as you see a truck or car coming towards you.

Out There Somewhere

Traffic coming in all directions,
People not watching where they go,
Barmping horns and gestures,
As they are moving too and fro.

The sun is hot and pouring down,
But the wind in your face feels good,
Enjoying the weekend trip on bike,
Out there, like you should.

Hear the sounds of the old guitar,
Voices all out of tune as they sing,
Good food and great company,
Wonderful fun , the weekend will bring.

A few more pictures, a few hugs,
Words are spoken in fun,
Another tune on the old guitar,
Enjoying the evening together everyone.

Laughter can be heard through the hours,
Sitting around in the moonlight,
Sharing out there somewhere are friends,
Another drink and another bite.

The time has gone and we must go,
Return to our home once more,
Memories of a time we shared, with
Family, friends, and an opened door.
