In the mist of our aloneness,
You attack us, causing great pain,

You watched as we hid, innocently away,

You watched as our smiles faded,
You saw our pure love turn to hate,
You knew the fear we held inside,
We couldn't run, it was too late.

We think back to the years as kids,
