Sometimes, time just isn't enough. Not enough time to answer questions to get the information you want. To cover what years have taken away, sometimes it is hard to let go of something wonderful. I left my youngest brother as I turned and walked away so he wouldn't see me cry, but it was time to go and I couldn't change that. All wonderful things must come to an end.
Just When I Really Need You
I felt my stomach stir, I felt a tear form in my eye, I turned to walk away, So you wouldn't see me cry.
Just one more hug from you, You know I love you so, And when we are together, It hurts to have to go.
My little baby brother, You're the one that I love so, It hurts deep within my heart, I can't bear when I have to go.
There's so much, I'd like to say, So many things we ought to do, We always seem to part, Just when I really need you.
You're so kind and gentle, Softly spoken with your way, I felt myself get all choked up, That's why I quickly walked away.
I know that time will gather us, For the time we need to share, Just when I really need you, You're there to show you care.
Dear sis, goodbyes in our family alway seem to hurt. But we always carry the love we have for each other close to our heart until we finally get together once again. Beautiful write sis.
There always seems to be one in each family (especially in a large family)who is the closest to our hearts and who we know we can always count on to be there for us. After meeting my cousin, your brother...the subject of this write I can see why you are so attached to him. The thing to remember though Rose is he is always in your heart and there to call on for strength whenever you need him.

Well written with much feeling. I don't have this kind of attachment of feelings for any of my siblings so I can't say I understand. It seems bitter sweet and I hope you get to visit each other soon again. Lady J
I don't think anything can equal the love that siblings have for each other; it seems so in your case. You've actually disrobed in front of your readers and exposed a side of you rarely mentioned much less WRITTEN about. Wonderful pen!
