So many years ago I met him at the airport and I knew it was true love at first sight, and right there and then I knew that one day we would marry and have a family. Through the years there has been many changes with us but our love for each other has always remained strong, And yes there is such a thing as love at first sight. I proved it 37 years ago.
A Love That’s Oh So True.
It was the first time when I met you, I just couldn’t turn away, I knew you would make me happy, So I planned our wedding day.
I knew that we’d have children, We’d make a happy home, I’d always be your lovin wife, So you won’t have to roam.
We’d have a healthy garden, I’d cook meals for you every night, We’d sit and snuggle up real close, By the fireplace so bright.
Time will pass and years will fly, We’ll remain the same as we are today, We always kept each other happy, So our love wouldn’tgo astray.
I’m so happy my darling, That it was me who first met you, And made our plans to be together, With a love that’s oh so true .
It does take two to make for such a wonderful marraige as this poem exemplifies, love can be fickle and ebb and wane over the years but if it is true in the end it will survive. Great job Rose,
