I woke from a dream this morning that I have had at least three times in the past few weeks, I do not know what the green waves mean but the voice that
speaks to me gives me the strength that I need to carry on through all the tough times we’ve had as a family
these past months through illness.

Poem Artwork

It Must Be A dream

As I walk slowly along the beach,
The waves begin to follow me,
Not understanding why I must look back,
Green angry waves, as high as I can see.

All alone with my thoughts I come,
To a peaceful place where I can share,
All the thoughts I have hidden for so long,
Through all my pain and fear.

I begin to run as they follow,
My heart beating so, I feel I will die,
I can’t go on any longer,
So I fall to the sand, lay there and cry.

A voice speaks softly to me,
Let me walk along and protect you,
Take life one day, one breath at a time,
And you dear will see life through.

I awake from my dream and I wonder,
About the waves and what do they mean,
Feeling the strength from this voice I heard,
Knowing it was much more than a dream.

Yes darling sis,I too can appreciate the dream you've been having and the beautiuful words you have written. It has been a very rough and sad 6 months for all of us and our faith and each other will get us through it.

Love you sis,

Dreams are truly wonderful, Rose. Your verses here attest to that. I have several dreams that return time and time again. I believe that dreams are very meaningful although I am not an expert at interpreting them. Thank you. Love and best wishes to you,

Regis

I am a firm believer that dreams are our subconcience talking to us - you are evidently dealing with internal griefs and maybe feel like you are drowing in the stress. So, take some "me" time and let you family/friends deal with their stressors themselves and breathe a little easier. Take care. I enjoyed the write.

Waves represent strong emotions, green is the color of nature and sincerity, it could mean that those things that have remained hidden within your heart will be revealed and validated safely in God's presence. This poem touched my heart Rose. Beautiful pen.

Dear Rose, forgive me for this, but it could mean that you should grab your surf board, wax it up and seize the day. There is nothing like riding a wave from it's high to it's descending low.

peace, always,
Dan

Dear little Rose, it is like expecting to open your window to a wonderful spring morning and your eyes seeing a naked and barren landscape of late Fall...
If you smile then...strength will come.

I see it as a sign that though you have an ocean full of troubles at present, the Lord will keep you from drowning if you rest in Him!
I'm praying that you will soon have smoother sailing.

Love,
ET

Love those ocean photographs. Just get my heart pumping every time.
God is speaking to you, trying to calm your fears and help you make sense of all the turmoil that has gone one. Have faith.....

Be safe,
Karen

Rose, listen to the voice and accept it as a positive in your life, take one day at a time and keep stepping forward to cure your sadness and sorrow you're feeling.

Had the same kinda dream over and over for many years...but each time just before I drown it will lift me up and carry my over the wall between myself and the waves....or I will wake up crying!!

Thanks for sharing...hope we both get our answer soon!!

I am a firm believer that messages are given to us through dreams. I have often been called the dreamer...Just when we think that life is about to consume us, much as the wave could have consumed you...the Lord will intervene, giving us strength, nourishing our weak bodies, and refreshing our exhausted minds...for He is always in control, but we must first lay it down and give it to Him, let Him carry our heavy load...just a thought that I had after reading your beautiful write, you've penned it with passion and heart, very touching, inspiring and well written...hang in there my friend...you're in my thoughts and prayers!
Blessings from Ky.

Dreams are often our subconscious reassuring us that the world is okay and we are okay, often they are words from above to do the same thing, sometimes even just loved one's subconscious thoughts crossing with our and often the words that are told to us but we sometimes just don't hear...either way this write captures all of those in a beautiful and tender chain of thought.

Things will be okay dear Cuz and we will always survive and walk into the sun.
hugs
