My days seem kind of lost,
Because it seems you’re gone,
You haven’t been yourself,
You're not here where you belong.
I hope that all is going well,
That you aren’t sad and blue,
Because it’s not the way,
I want things to be for you.

I’d like to see the sunshine,
With a rainbow bright for you,
With stars above to wish on,
For all your dreams to come true .
I want you to sleep well ,
Get the proper rest at night,
So you can get the best of your time,
For all around you to be just right.

I don’t want to shy away from you,
Don’t want you to shy away from me,
Because I worry so much dear,
I know that’s very plain to see.
Just take the time you need dear,
And know that I am near,
It’s not the way I want things,
Because I really care.
