I know i am at it again. It just seems that pretty well all the poems can be put to music which proves right what my brother said. All good songs come from a great poem. We all seem to be looking for that right person to fill our dreams and when we feel we've found them we think "Why can't that someone be you". Hope you enjoy.

Words that uplift the heart,
And never left alone.
Wonderful words to set to music,
Felt throughout the air.
Words written from the heart,
That show how much you care.
Chorus They say I need you & I miss you,
I'm happy or I'm Blue.
I need your arms to comfort me,
For no one else will do.
I need someone to hold my hand,
To whisper sweet words as you do.
Someone I can depend on,
Why can't that someone be you .
Hold me & love me,
Long for me through the night.
Kiss me & make love to me,
Make all between us right.
Rest your head upon my chest,
Stay here where you belong.
Tell me darling that you need me too,
That our love can't be wrong.

I love it.Poems can indeed be turned into great songs and you have demonstrated that.I like how the words flow into the poem/song.Keep up the good work
I've always felt that some of the best poets were the ones who wrote wonderful lyrics that we sing for generations. Of course the music helps a lot too.
This poem/songs says so much and the words are easy to sing and remember, I have one suggestion though dear Cus...like the title drop the "dear" from the last line in the chorus. I know it rhymnes with ear but if you let it drift off you won't need it and I think it brings it all into the title. Love it though.

Rose, your way with words makes music to any piece of writing. This is truly beautiful and I enjoyed it much! I love the romance needed in this write...it one where one says, "Tell me darling that you need me too...that our love can't be wrong." Oh, how good this is.
