Everyone needs someone to turn to and it's okay to place your trust in that special someone with your dreams and wishes for a brighter tomorrow. I have this habit of saying I love you and the worst part of that is I mean it from my heart. I love my husband, children, brothers/sisters, grandkids, friends and relatives. I just love them all in a different way. Different way but still my love from my heart and so I write this one for you today because I love you that much.
Long Gone But Never Forgotten I was taught a special lesson,
It came from another’s heart,
Wise words shared through wisdom,
That gave my life a brand new start.
Love comes in many stages,
It’s a feeling not a touch that is felt,
Something shared by many, It called a love when one can help.
To give of one’s time,
When another needs it so,
To help another’s life glisten,
To make a life of love easily flow.
Long gone but never forgotten,
What one shares from the heart,
Those wise words that make a difference,
For another love relationship to start.
When you say you love another,
It doesn’t mean like a man and wife,
Just that secure feeling,
Of a thankfulness for a better life.
Long Gone but never forgotten,
Wise words to help a special friend, Helping them to fulfill their dreams of love,
That hopefully will never end.

Rose,
This is soooooo Beautiful and speaks to and through the heart and soul. I loved the preamble too, there are so many that freak out when they hear the words I Love You. I feel like I have to explain to them that I didn't say I am in Love with you, I said I love you. Thank you. Warmth and Love, Carin'
It is truth that flows from this write and your heart dear cuz. Some can express those words and use them freely but for others their own past life experiences may not permit them to be as open. It is nice to hear the words spoken but it is also not always necessary...sometimes actions speak much louder than words or at least that is what I believe. Great write Cuz.

Wise thoughts, words and an expression of shared feeling freely given, makes one a very beautiful person to the core. A most wonderful piece coming from all the love in your heart. A special thanks for sharing this....
You are just like me, I say those words oftem\n and then sometimes regret because the person--even an aquintance--does something foolish and hurts my heart...but I think we should say it more and more often, those three words can save a life....great write!
i like this very much--there is so much to be gained by having and sharing what you write of

Bingo, Rose! "I love you" never needs to be explained. Many levels, many needs/fulfillments involved. The heart knows.
Ihave but one love now and it is stil my dead hubby Tom, don't want to go through another one having an illness and having to watch them go downhill. But I do love people from my heart in an AGAPE WAY, which is God's kind of love.
