Love is worth fighting for when you know the love is rightly your's and that those two hearts ache for one another, never let an intruder come between two hearts. Enter the battle field with all your guts and glory.


My Battle Is To Win

I said that I would follow you,
On any battle field,
Just to prove that it’s you I want,
My feelings are so real.

I try to hide just what’s inside,
These feelings can’t be a sin,
I told you when it’s worth the fight,
My Battle is to win.

I stand firm for what I need,
And you are on my mind,
Don’t turn your back and walk away,
Don’t waste our precious time.

I’ll wrap you with loving arms,
Shelter you from the rest,
Protect you and guide you,
You’ll agree, I am the best.

I have but one thing in mind,
Yes to some my thoughts may be a sin,
But I need you and I’ll have you,
My Battle is to win.

Love and hate can make a war,
A Fight between more than a few,
 But I’ll tell you, my Battle is to win,
Cause my heart aches for only you.

It is a darn good love song, even has a built in chorus. Could almost strum a guitar to this. And as usual you avoid the cliche (thankfully) and you titles are just plain GREAT!

Hi Rose,I wish I can find a woman in this world that knows how to love a man unconditionally and will be there for him like you express in this poem.You are a queen who doesn't need to wear a crown because you wear it inside of your heart for your man to see.You are a lovely woman.you take care of yourself
