Hubby is in bed so I slowly crept out so not to wake him. I am inclined to kick a lot when my hips and legs are paining, there isn't really too much I can do for it. he pills doesn't seem to want to help, so here I am just passing time so he can at least get some rest.

This Isn’t Meant To Be
I Don’t Get Up Till 5:30
October 24, 2008
Written By: Rose Marie Rideout

I know, what am I doing up at two,
Can’t seem to rest, don’t know what to do.
Didn’t want to wake hubby, he has to work,
I’ll just stay home do housework and cook.

Take a few pain pills, give my hips a little heat,
When I suffer in pain, can’t stay off my feet.
Can’t sit or lay or rest through the night,
Just want to cry but that don’t make it right.

He never caught me as I slipped out of bed,
That really bothers him, my pain he dreads.
There’s nothing he can do for how I hurt you see,
Just hold me and love me patiently.

I know what hurts him is to see me in pain,
But getting upset with himself has nothing to gain.
Just let me be, for I know what I have to do,
Put rub on my hips, take pain pills two by two.

I’ll catch up on rest through the day,
While others are at work and play.
I dread for the weather to turn damp and cold,
That’s when I hurt, feel worn and old.

I can’t try to sneak back to our bed tonight,
Can’t rest on the couch, that isn’t right.
Soon he will notice that I am gone,
He’ll find me and take me to where I belong.

It’s now almost three in the morning,
I’ll suffer today, my pain is my warning.
I hate to complain but what can one do,
Put rub on my hips, take pain pills two by two.

Pain is such a sneaky thing, but remember Rose, pain is a memory, so whenever you start to feel any pain, direct your mind to a pleasant thought of a flower bed of roses, or a stream running, or a waterfall, and take yourself there to misguide your mind into thinking that you have no pain but only beautiful thoughts of wonderful natural things.
I wish you peace, love, and light,

No dear sis it isn't meant to be, but for some reason it still happens as we both know. But at least you weren't alone you had me with you through it didn't you. After all why should we suffer alone, lol. I hope you got a little sleep after we signed off, I did, a couple of restless hours. The words written apply to a lot of us, you are not alone sweetie.

I LOVE YOU SIS,XOXOXOXOXO

(((Rose))),

No, it's not meant to be like this, but it is ... but you, the considerate one, let hubby rest while you suffer - and write in your pain - beautiful. Well done, hope you feel better soon!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

Pain on both our minds, as are pills and seeking relief ... too bad the dang docs won't listen!

Ah dear cuz, it is ironic that though we met so late in life we still are so much alike.Although we suffer from different ailments we also both end up with insomia a lot from the pain they bring. Hope you are feeling better this morning and maybe your big news will come through to take the bite out of the pain for a little while.

That makes two of us, except that I am SUPPOSED to be up and on my feet all night, and I would like to send my lack of pain to you right now :-)

At least, have a caring hug and I hope the pain will leave you alone.

Ted
