Life Isn’t Always Easy
(We’re put to a test)

Life isn’t always easy,
For God puts us through a test,
To see how we handle situations,
When put under so much stress.
We often feel that we have screwd up,
What else can we do wrong,
For we don’t accept what’s happening,
When all familiar things seem gone.
Collect ourselves and rest a while,
For all things in life we have to earn,
And way to often we realize,
It’s a test that we must learn.
Lost and lonely in the dark,
We feel all life is gone,
Truth is we have to pick ourselves up,
Get back to where we belong.
What do we want in life,
Now think of what you really need,
Make a plan to get to your destiny,
Follow it for it is a sacred deed.
No life isn’t always easy and it may never be,
We have choices to help us along the way,
No things aren’t always that easy,
But we can help change it a little everyday.
A simple thing such as prayer,
Is heard by our Father up above,
He is there to help through these times,
Because for us, He holds a forever love.

In the end, ashes to ashes, all man's destiny will be, for even Lazarus ultimately died years after Jesus brought him out of the dead. Your poem makes us aware "that we must number our days aright" for "a man's life is but a breath" and we will all reach our finish lines any day, any moment.
