I guess many people have been very sweet in telling me I have OCD and I have accepted it as it isn't such a bad thing as I like to have a tidy home not spontless but clean and I am perticular over how I fold my clothes and sheets. So here goes which I am sure I've heard from my daughter a few times,but she still says she loves me through my ways.

and get a snit in your nose.
What do you mean, It’s not clean enough, I sweep and wash the floor,
I can never do things good enough for you,,
As you walk out slamming the door.
What do you mean, It's not wrinkle free, I made your bed and you strip it down,
You say it’s because of a wrinkle you’ve found.
I wash the dishes and put them away,
You rearrange them each and everyday.
I try to please you,
But it’s never enough,
Doing anything for you,
Gets really tough.
I believe there’s a problem,
I understand that you can’t seem to see,
It’s not that I am doing it wrong,
Nothing for you is done pleasingly.
I believe it’s called
Obsessive Complusive Disorder you see,
That’s when someone does things,
in their own way PERFECTLY.
Wash it clean, & fold it right,
Straighten it out, tuck sheets tight,
Finsih up and put it away,
Do it right, hear what I say.
I had a perfectionist mother, it can be so hard growing up that way when nothing is good enough. We each have to find our own way and worth and each have to deal with life our own way. Well penned Rose.

her sons and her husband - they got "suffocated" be the tidiness of everything!

OCD is not necessarily a bad thing, Rose. Wish I had a piece of it, my house isn't nasty dirty, but does need a bit of freshening up ... LOL!! My old fibromyalgia - ic body doesn't like to git 'er done. Karen, unfortunately, can't do any lifting, or bending over a lot, so ... everything's on me. Don't mind, but frustrating for both. You wanna come help? You're more than welcome to ... LOL! Excellent poem, my friend. (I have trichotillomania, which is hair pulling, which is a part of OCD. I need the rest!! LOL)
