I know I haven't been around too much and I am sorry but tomorrow is the day the packers come in and within a few days we will be on the road to our new home. It won't be too long and life will go back to normal for now I have to tend to our new beginnings.

New Beginnings

New neighbours surround me,
New unfamiliar homes,
Kids waving with a smile,
Not a chance of feeling alone.

Gotta get a new Doctor,
Shop at a new store,
All these new beginnings,
Something special and more.

Surrounded by boxes,
To the ceiling from the floor,
No end in sight,
As we’re backed into the door.

We’re together again,
Settled in our brand new home,
No more emptiness,
That feeling of being alone.

Saturday morning breakfast,
Family dinners in the plan
Sipping wine in the Hot tub,
What more could one demand.

New beginnings in the future,
Filled with smiles in the air,
The joyous sounds of laughter,
and music are everywhere.

Though I haven't had the need, nor the urge to move in many years, the words you write are very familiar. Knowing you, from what you write and from what you've written in reviews, Nova Scotia will be a wonderful place for you to live... If you don't freeze your ass off in winter. But you will have your love to keep you warm, won't you!
