With each step I walk through life,
I vision you by my side.
I wonder do you feel this way,
But then every once in a while,
I see you through the corner of my eye,
Your mind off in a distance,
And I wonder, do you feel this way?

When a teardrop falls to my cheek,
It’s because I think of you,
When a smile crosses my face,
But then every once in a while,
I realize it is because I think of you,
My dreams take me to your arms,
And I wonder, do you feel this way?

I smell your scent of cologne in the air,
I feel your embrace everywhere,
I see your face as I turn around,
I hear your footsteps though there’s no sound,
Though you are always here,
But then every once in a while,
I wonder, did you ever care?
