Too many jump into a relationship because they only see and feel what they want to be there.

The Price Tag on Your Love
October 23, 2009
Written by: Rose Marie Rideout

You take your suitcase and walk away,
With tears I beg you, Darling please stay.
You laugh as you have from the very start,
Just one more time , you broke my heart.
You’ll go to her, she’ll think you care,
Until that day, she too will shed a tear.

Chorus:

For you’re just an actor, no one can truly see,
Your love for one, could never really be.
You’ll hurt another, then again walk away,
It’s the price tag on your love, we all must pay.
For you’re just an actor, a lying hurtin man,
Who’ll take our heart and love when you can.
You’ll laugh as we shed each lonely tear,
Which shows us you’re one who doesn’t care.

Dressed in your fancy suit and tie,
I love you though I question why,
You laugh at me and walk away,
To break another’s heart, another day.
Why can’t we see through your lyin eyes,
Before you say your hurtin good-byes,

Repeat Chorus

Before you say your hurtin good-byes
