Santa's Little Elf, Busy At Work

Santa’s little Elf, had stayed up all night long,
Trying to get his suit finished, for that special night.
A little tuck here & another over there,
Now that should make Old Santa’s suit fit right.

So fuzzy & fury, it should keep him warm,
For that night of the year can be so frosty & cold,
We have to help Santa do his job,
With proper clothing, I’m told.

Next is his red Sack, filled with magic dust,
A doll for a girl & a truck for a boy,
As he reaches for that special gift,
As he checks out his list  of each toy.

Mrs. Claus is pleased with his suit,
All red and furry, made to fit just right,
She knows it’s very important,
On each Christmas Eve Night.

So little ones , listen real close,
Close your eyes and go to sleep,
Santa won’t deliver toys till,
He’s sure there isn’t a peep.
