As we get older, we realize each day we are more and more in love with our partners, just being with them and knowing each still cares about the other is all we need to go on day after day.

Do You Still See me
February 19, 2010
Written by Rose Marie Rideout

As I age one day at a time,
Do you still look at me,
Do you still see me as you once did,
As I was so many years ago.

Do you see the graying in my hair,
The few extra pounds I carry,
My skin isn`t as tight as it once was,
My eyesight isn`t quiet the same.

Do you still long to hold me in your arms,
You once stared at me while I slept,
Do you still see me as you once did,
As I was so many years ago.

I have a few wrinkles now,
I always called them laugh lines,
But you and I know dear,
It all comes with age.

I look at you as I have for years,
You are more now then I ever wanted,
You have become stronger and
Made me stronger through the years.

I look at you in the distance,
I don`t see the gray in your hair,
All I see is this handsome man,
One I have loved for thirty-seven years.

I still stare at you while you sleep,
I still long for your arms and your attention,
I still see you as I have over the years,
Only one change, my love for you is stronger

Really love this one, Rose. The words, the style, the truth about you and me and all of us that the years add gray hair to and a bit of weight to and those we love that are still loved because they've aged with us.
God job, Rose.
Your friend, Markie

Beautiful write sis, and yes time does change our outer features, but the most important ones never change. With true love the love never changes. I still look at my wonderful man and see the young, strong man he was back then and still is in my eyes.

Love you sis,
Selena
