I gaze off into the distance
There you are my one and only,
We haven’t met yet but
You are there and here am I.
We stare at each other
As you slowly walk towards me,
The touch of you hands on my face,
Make me want to taste your lips,
I quiver at the thought,
Maybe, just maybe I will,
Yes I will rest within your arms,
We sip wine as we watch the glow
The fire burning as intense
as I feel next to you.
We haven’t met yet but,
You and I know, we see, we feel,
Our wanting can be,
No one will see or know,
This is between us, our secret,
Out thoughts in the distance.
I am anyone I chose to be and you,
Oh I am sorry, we haven’t met,
Yet I love your dark brown eyes,
Your manly grin as you stare into my eyes.
My heart beats faster at the thought of you,
We haven’t met yet but we will
If only in my daydream.
