Why? Because

The sun shines even through the storms,
The rain drops fall between each step I take,
I place my arms around you always,
You know how much I really care.
If you hurt, then I hurt,
When you are sad, I smile for you,
When you are down, I hold you up,
I am part of who you are.
I walk through the bolted locks,
 You try so hard to keep your innerself  in.
It doesn’t matter because I have a way,
A way to get through, Why? because I deeply care.

I can almost read your mind,
I know when you need time alone,
I can feel your emotions your every thought,
As I watch you when you come home.
I am strong not just for me but for you,
I will always be right here,
Standing with you always, Why?
So simple, It’s because I care.
 I’ll continue to walk through the bolted locks,
You try so hard to keep your innerself locked away,
It doesn’t matter dear, I have a way,
