Just Because

I smiled at the sunshine,
I dance between the drops of rain
I make Angels in the Snowfall,
Though others think I am insane.
I hold special thoughts inside,
Just because I am living everyday,
I refused to let things bother me,
Or let bad days lead me astray.

Just because I am a woman,
Just because I love the life I live
Just because I have the energy,
To share the happiness I give,
Just because is the reason,
I share the words I have to say,
Just because I refuse to let bad things,
Lead me the wrong way.

Life is full of wonders,
So much to see and so much to do,
Just because I wear a smile,
For each day the sun shines through,
Even on a down day,
I seem to find my way,
Just because I refuse to let bad things,
Bother me or lead me astray.

Dear Rose, this is the way everyone should see life. I like it as myself, I like to go out and make people smile. I can tell you I am very succesfull, despite my age, which I consider has nothing to do with our energy and feelings. My mom used to say, "Smile to life, life will smile to you."
