Together for twenty-nine years,
We know what brought you this far,
It wasn’t listening to wrong advice,
It wasn’t money or the big fancy car.

It wasn’t a family fortune,
That built your life and home,
It must have been a love,
Strengthened by you two alone.

Twenty-nine years, Congratulations,
Still enjoying time together,
Beaches in the heat of the day,
Snuggling close in the cold winter.

The years keeps getting better,
The feelings you have has certainly changed,
The kids have all grown and gone,
But your understanding love has remained.

As years go passing by,
We soon come to accept in life,
The only things that we can count on,
Is what we share as husband and wife.
Each other
                    for evermore…
