It's Easter Time Again

The children know what's on the way,
As the Easter Bunny comes to lay,
Those chocolate eggs and candy,
Which always taste so dandy.

Mom spends days preparing sweets,
Coconut cream and a lemon pie,
With chocolate squares for treats,
I'm sure everyone will want to try.

I can smell the Ham in the oven,
Always cooked the day before,
The Turkey will be dressed for sure,
Family will smell as they enter the door.

They'll see the table set in it's finery,
As everyone we're happy to greet,
The meal smells oh so delicious,
As each one takes their seat.

Turkey, dressing, ham & gravy so good,
With all the veggies and fresh rolls,
Made by mom like only she could,
Such a delicious meal she is told.

The kids are happy with smiles,
The adults are filled with great food,
Lots of Easter Eggs for each child,
With candy that taste so good.
