HE WAITED...THERE

Our Redeemer's Death on the Cross would not have meant a thing 'if' He Remained...dead. He would have been just another good man...a martyr. Thus Jesus, obedient to His Father, from the beginning to the very end...waited...for the appointed hour and then...He Arose! Alive!!! with 'all' Power!!! We do not serve a Dead God! But 'The' Living Reigning Creator God of Heaven and Earth... Hallelujah!!!
HAPPY EASTER TO ONE AND ALL!

He waited there…

In the tomb

He…was His only Light

His trip to hell had been successful

the keys were now in His possession

He Had won…the fight!

No longer would the faithful dead

be denied their entrance into Beulah Land...

the Gates were open...! their path to tread

Now, near completing His Father’s will

He knew His scant follower’s thoughts…

doubtful thoughts…that only He could still

And, as He waited there…

In the silence

He was aware of...all...

John’s ever faithful attend...

to His mother

as her tears did fall

He saw Peter’s shame and weeping

Then there was Judas'… unrepentant end

Also, His disciples…fearfully keeping

He saw Mary sadly counting the hours

when she’d return to the tomb

then finding Him alive…her joyous shower

He waited there…

for the messenger from His Father

who would arrive…not for His sake

But to give the soldiers

something to tell

when they woke from their quake

He removed His shroud and lay it neatly aside

the moment… was almost upon Him…soon…soon

Love's Triumphant Might would abide...

Flooding the earth throughout centuries…

His Entire Purpose…would be revealed

He’d come forth…ALIVE...all the world to see!

But The Son did obediently revere…

His Father's Will…birth to death

Thus, He contained ...His Glare

For, Victory belonged to…Triune…Clear

As Three, Was One; God, Son and Spirit

And…He waited there

Matt 12:40, Matt 28:2-6, Lk 24:12, John 2:19

Our calendar revolves around the BIRTH of our Savoir Jesus Christ. Then our church attendance is GREATEST on Resurrection Day. It's all a TRIBUTE TO THE TRUTH. Thank you for this gentle reminder, Joyce. Christ eternal Love, peace, and blessings to you and your family. John Michael

And obediently we wait as well. I'm kind of more anticipative lately than I've ever been. How 'bout you? A wonderful recount of a magnificent plan that gives those who choose to believe such a magnificent future. Done well, JMS Bell. Kudos! Peace... r

I for one am grateful that he loved us so much as to die for us and loved us more to resurrect. His flame is still living in my heart, as it is in yours. I love your words of faith and hope, Thank you for sharing them, May your life be blessed with his divine love. xo

I love this!! Our minister told us that there were over 300 witnesses who saw Jesus after He had risen.......then he went on down the line. That many people can't be wrong!

Love ya!

A noble and inspired recreation of what might have been in the distant past which is still so very near. Excellent.
