It is a seed that is planted
inside, you see, not needy
not in need of seeking
in endless wrong places
wrong faces, no, it is a seed
grown and invigorated
in secret, slowly, firmly
and then, you are.

And then you are
fruit of fidelity
offspring that confides
in the soul that guided
the hand.

Confident, you shelter
that strength forever
only if he had
the will and strength
to plant it there within you.

Confidence, only if
your father’s hand
has given.

This makes me think of "what goes around, comes around," and "you receive what you give,"...and on and on. This is so wonderfully written. Beautiful work.

Lots of pressure on women. Society's eyes are always watching. An interesting poem.

The fundamental essence of God lives within every man, woman and child. But I think the giving is a two-way street. Best summed up by saying: "If you do God's work, he'll do yours." I'm not really a religious person, by the way. But I understand that in many respects, we get out of the Universe what we put into it. Good poem.

This burrows deep into questions for me, deep into the soul and all of the nurturing that takes place there within each one of us.

Dear Axilea, You wrote, what many people do not even think about.
One of my dear friends, an elderly lady, told me one day, in German: "Entweder hat man's oder hat man's nicht."(which means either one has it or one doesn't)I believe she referred to that seed.
Very deep. Love Emile
