Months have passed since you left
And now the holidays have arrived.
This was your favorite time of year;
How odd not to find your name
On the gifts beneath the tree,
Or to see you busily baking away
In a totally trashed kitchen;
I miss you, Momma,
Now more than ever,
But I would rather you be where you are:
Healthy and happy in heaven,
Than suffering still here on earth.
So, celebrate the season
In that perfect place
And we will see you again-
Someday.

Oh you poor dear, I know the feeling it brings this time of year. My dad was murdered in August of this year and I find now that Christmas nears to be very difficult to get through. God bless you and bring you peace and solace within your heart....

Be safe,
Karen

That first Christmas apart from a loved one is always the most difficult. I pray that you will find strength in the beautiful memories and that the season will be filled with all God's beauty.It is apparent that you trust in God and know that she is in a better place. Your faith shines through.

God bless you. Kathy
