Embers smolder deep within--
Do you see them?
Banked by shyness,
Cloaked by eyes of blue,
They're hard to perceive
In someone such as I;
But they are there,
Waiting,
Sometimes impatiently,
For you to sense their heat.
There is so much to me
You do not fathom:
I am a woman
Of passion and virtue,
Of courage and strength,
Of tender spirit and gentle humor.
Look beyond this outer shell,
And search within me,
To find the treasure
That awaits
The One
Who dares to seek me out.
Explosive potential in this poem. Despite that, it is still intriguing - which is talent in and of itself. Would love to see a final edition of this one. Really very good.
In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
