With each passing day
Spring and Winter vie
For the soul of Mother Earth;
But Winter is a tired old man
Who can only battle in fits and starts
And cannot stop the budding
Of Spring's prolific blooms,
Or the emergence of new life.
So the days grow longer
And the sun shines warmer
Until, with dwindling squalls,
Winter finally retreats
Before the relentless Spring
To await the fall of Summer.
Questions, unquestioned discoveries, and answers in parable and rhyme…. This collection records a journey starting with a 1960s retrospective and the first man on the moon, moving to a new millennium welcomed in with a terrorist spin, family crises,
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
